About Birnehigo Agro Industry PLC established in early 2019 and started construction of their state of art Tahini and Sesame Processing facility which is 2000 Sqm and 2400 Sqm storage facility, employing around 60 professionals operating in full accordance with the Global Standard for Food Safety.
Our factory located at Tigray Regional State of Ethiopia, Mekele City which is 500 Km far from Humera famous and main sesame farming location, 750 Km far from Djibouti Port, 700 Km far from Assab Port and 350 Km far from Massawa Port.
Company would like to share their raw sesame exporting experience last 12 years, turned to value added premium quality products promoting to the world market.
As an initially our production capacity designed 3,500 Ton/Annum Tahini by using traditional methods, 7,500 Ton/Annum Hulled Sesame Seed by mechanically method without using any chemicals, 1500 Ton/Annum Tahini Halva with different variety and 1500 Ton/Annum Jam different varieties by using Ethiopian naturally grown fruits.
Birnehigo Agro complies for its brands Abyssinia and Humera with stringent quality standards such as ISO 9001:2005, HACCP, KOSHER, BRC, GMP, FSSC 2200, NON GMO, GLUTEN FREE etc.
We integrated traditional methods of production together innovative, advanced technology and machinery combined with extensive Research & Development to have unique taste, keep rich aroma of natural and traditional tahini.
